Haloumi salad
Ingrédients
Red tomatoes in cubes
Baladi cucumber or other cooked green beans, refreshed
Lettuce, baby spinach or watercress, trimmed
Fresh mint or parsley chopped or dried oregano
Minced red onion, soaked in cold water, if desired
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Pepper
Haloumi cheese, sliced or diced, rinsed thoroughly under cold water, blotted
Préparation
Prepare the salad with the vegetables and seasonings
Drizzle with oil of lemon juice and pepper. Caution, do not salt, the cheese will be enough
Toast cheese in a nonstick skillet without fat just for the colour on each side
Arrange the cheese on the salad
