Mission description:

Mission

Under the supervision of the maintenance manager, the electromechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance and repair of production equipment.

He or she intervenes rapidly to diagnose problems, make the necessary repairs and support operations, while complying with quality, health and safety standards in force.


Main responsibilities :

  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting
    • Observe and analyze electromechanical components and systems to locate faults
    • Diagnose and solve electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems
    • Respond quickly to production stoppages
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
    • Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
    • Carry out repairs to ensure continuity of operations
    • Help improve equipment reliability
  • Operations support
    • Provide technical support to production teams
    • Collaborate with various departments to optimize equipment
    • Propose continuous improvement solutions
  • Documentation and follow-up
    • Complete work orders and required forms
    • Ensure rigorous monitoring of work carried out
    • Keep information up to date in systems
  • Working environment and compliance
    • Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and safe
    • Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations
    • Apply current quality standards
  • Other responsibilities
    • Carry out any other related tasks requested by the immediate superior

Profile required:

Training and experience

  • Diploma in electromechanics, industrial maintenance or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
  • Experience in the food industry (an important asset)

 

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of industrial mechanics, electricity and pneumatics
  • Ability to effectively diagnose technical problems
  • Good understanding of automated systems (asset)
  • Mastery of maintenance tools and equipment
