It's in our nature to get involved.

We actively participate in the local community, whether by supporting events or donating our products to local organizations during charity drives. We also love sharing our expertise: we mentor young entrepreneurs and lend a hand to local businesses to help them grow, both here and internationally.

Training the next generation is important to us. We regularly welcome interns, and for some, the journey continues with a job at our company. Contributing to the community means spreading positivity around us and building something sustainable together.

Since 2010, we've been integrating a sustainable and innovative approach into every decision we make, with a clear objective: to reduce our impact on the environment while optimizing our energy efficiency. Every gesture counts, especially when it's aimed at preserving resources for those who come after us.

Sustainable initiatives that make a difference:

Environmentally responsible temperature management :

installation of a system of heat pumps and solar panels to heat and cool the premises, thus reducing energy consumption.

Recovery of surplus heat :

Recovery of heat generated by certain equipment to heat water and reduce fossil fuel consumption.

Assessing our environmental impact :

Carrying out an assessment of the company's CO₂ emissions in order to set up a reduction plan for the coming years.

Certifications

Commitment to quality and food safety

Producing quality cheeses also means guaranteeing their safety, traceability and conformity. Our certifications testify to our rigor and commitment to those who place their trust in us.

Halal certification

The majority of our products are certified halal, in line with religious requirements and recognized manufacturing standards. This certification enables us to meet the specific needs of many communities across the country.

HACCP system

We apply the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system, recognized by the regulatory authorities. This preventive system enables us to identify, control and reduce food safety risks at every stage of production.

Kosher products

Some of our products may also meet kosher certification criteria, although this compliance is more restrictive. We make sure to comply with specific guidelines when requested.

Fromagerie Polyethnique is committed to being a partner of choice in the manufacture of dairy products inspired by various traditions and cultures, recognized for its rigor, its constant desire to improve, and the importance it places on its team and partners.

 

FSSC 22000 (GFSI) accredited and compliant with the Canadian Food Safety Regulations (SOR/2018-108), we maintain a structured, documented and constantly improving Food Safety Management System.

 

We also manage Halal and Kosher requirements for certain products, as well as allergens, to protect the integrity of our products and the health of consumers.

Management assumes responsibility for the effectiveness of the quality and food safety system, and provides the resources needed to maintain and improve it. Each manager is accountable within his or her department, and each team member is responsible for the conformity of the products he or she helps to manufacture.

We maintain controlled documentation and full traceability of our operations to ensure regulatory compliance, the reliability of our information and the confidence of our partners.
