Chicken, Haloumi and Mango Tacos

A perfect balance of sweet, salty and tangy: these Haloumi Le Bédouin cheese tacos, topped with tender chicken and juicy mango pieces, will delight your guests.

This recipe can also be made with Nabulsi Le Bédouin cheese, for a slightly spicier, more fragrant variation.

Ingredients

  • 4 large soft tacos
  • 1/2 cup cubed grilled Haloumi cheese
  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 diced tomato
  • 2 cups chicken marinated in taco spices
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Labneh

Preparation

  1. Marinate chicken with taco spices for one hour.
  2. Cook chicken with garlic and lime juice.
  3. Mix the mango, tomato and onion to make a salsa.
  4. Top tortillas with chicken, salsa, slices of grilled Haloumi cheese and a spoonful of Labneh.
  5. Enjoy with your loved ones!
