Chioggia beet canapés
Ingredients
- 1 Chioggia beet
- 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
- Labneh
- 1/4 cup water
- +/- 75 g sugar
- 1 basil leaf per sofa
Preparation
- Thinly slice the beet using a mandolin.
- Combine the water, white balsamic vinegar and a little sugar, and marinate the beet slices to soften and flavour (about 20 minutes), then drain the sliced beets.
- Line each beet slice with a basil leaf, curl the slice and prick it with a toothpick (make sure to prick the basil so that it stays in place).
- Garnish with Labneh, add a little caviar and a few fresh thyme leaves, and enjoy!
